A Smithsonian affiliate institution, Irving Arts Center is home to 2 fully-equipped theaters, 4 galleries and meeting, classroom, reception and rehearsal facilities. Their sculpture garden, a 2-acre natural oasis, features winding paths, gardens, whimsical fountains and the bold visions of local and international artists. In 2014, the Arts Center hosted 1,375 events, including 203 performances and 24 art exhibitions, and welcomed 103,719 visitors. Year-round youth and family programs include story times, Art Adventure Camps, live performances and Family Fundays.
