While on your Texas vacation you may want to take a break and stop in at the Crow Collection of Asian Art display. Here you will have the opportunity to see over 600 paintings, other art mediums such as metal and stone, and there are large architectural pieces from the countries of China, Japan, India, and Southeast Asia. There are also more than 300 works on display in the galleries such as precious jade ornaments, delicate Japanese scrolls, and a rare sandstone facade of an 18th-century Indian residence.

The museum offers visitors the opportunity to see some of the most elegant artwork available for viewing in the United States of Asian art. The year-long series of five exhibitions “Texas Collects Asia” Contemporary Art” is the final installment of the collection showing the trends found in prints, paintings, photographs, and sculptures of some of the most cutting-edge artists from China, Japan, and Vietnam. Japanese Folk Art is also displayed at the museum. The displays showcase an impressive array of religious sculptures, paintings, and children’s toys as well as Minge ceramics, panels, and other hand-made goods for everyday use and enjoyment.
On display will also be a selection of objects from the permanent collections of the Crow Collection of Asian Art and works on loan from the Collection of Penn and Margarida Williamson in Houston and the Collection of John L. and Rosemarie in San Antonio. This display will show items from the Neolithic period (c.10,000 B.C. – c. 1600 B.C.) to the Ming Dynasty (1368 – 1644). There are burial furnishings, as well as other displays of the earthenware pieces.
The displays go on and on, you will certainly be enthralled with the creative beauty from years ago and current periods.
Trammell & Margaret Crow Collection of Asian Art has more than 600 paintings, an object of metal and stone, and large architectural pieces from China Japan, India, and Southeast Asia.
We believe in facilitating free public programs for the community and offer Wellness Classes including Yoga, Meditation, Tai Chi, and Qigong throughout the week. The first Saturday of every month is dedicated to family programs that include art-making, music, and dance.
- Hours: The Crow Collection is open Tuesdays-Sundays 10 AM- 5 PM, with extended hours on Thursdays until 9 PM; closed Mondays.

Paid parking is available in the Trammell Crow Center Garage, which can be accessed from either Harwood or Olive streets. Friends of The Crow Collection receive 2 hours of complimentary parking in the garage. Metered parking can be found on Harwood, Ross, and Olive streets. Paid surface lots can be found on Ross and Olive streets.
Free Tours
A free, guided tour of the permanent collection is offered every Thursday at 6:30 pm, and Saturday at 1:00 p.m. A free, guided tour of the Trammell Crow European Sculpture Garden is offered every Sunday at 1:00 p.m. All tours begin in the lobby of the museum.
Gallery Photography Policy
Still, photography is permitted for private, noncommercial use only in the Museum’s galleries devoted to the permanent collection. Photographs cannot be published, sold, reproduced, transferred, distributed, or otherwise commercially exploited in any manner whatsoever. Photography is not permitted in special exhibitions or areas designated as “No Photography.” Works of art on loan from private collections or other institutions may not be photographed. The use of a flash is prohibited. Movie and video cameras are prohibited. Tripods are allowed on weekdays only, and only with a permit issued by the Front Desk. From DFW Airport: Take south airport exit to 183 East. Continue on 183 East to 35E South. From 35E South, take the exit labeled “75/45” to get onto the Woodall Rogers Freeway. Exit south on Pearl Street. Proceed through Flora Street to Ross Avenue. Turn right onto Ross Avenue to Olive Street. Turn right onto Olive Street until Flora Street. Turn left onto Flora Street and The Crow Collection will be to the left.
From Ft. Worth: Take I-30 East to 35E North. From 35E North, take the exit labeled “75/45” to get onto the Woodall Rogers Freeway. Exit south on Pearl Street. Turn right onto Flora Street.
