For racing aficionados, the Texas Motor Speedway in Fort Worth is an iconic destination. I recently had the opportunity to visit this legendary racetrack, and I can honestly say that it was a truly unforgettable experience.
The Race Track: Unrivaled Excitement & Spectacle
The first thing that stands out when you arrive at Texas Motor Speedway is its sheer size. It’s a 1.5-mile quad-oval racetrack with 24-degree banking in the turns, making it one of the highest-banked ovals in the world. This means that viewers get an unparalleled view of the cars as they speed around the track. As you take a lap to get a sense of what it feels like to speed through the turns, it’s easy to understand why drivers like Dale Earnhardt, Tony Stewart and Jeff Gordon have referred to this track as “the fastest race track on earth.”
The Fan Experience: An Unparalleled Show
What makes Texas Motor Speedway unique is the incredible atmosphere for fans. There is so much going on all at once, from races on the track itself to concerts and entertainment off it. The speedway also offers 24 luxury suites, which are equipped with spectacular views of the entire track. And, if you’re looking to really make a night of it, there’s even an RV campground and restaurant located onsite.
Overall, my trip to Texas Motor Speedway was one of the most exhilarating experiences I’ve ever had. Whether you’re a die-hard race fan or just someone who likes to experience the thrill of speed, this track is sure to provide an unforgettable experience.

Laps of the racing oval, in our tour van, produce the same hold-your-breath sensations experienced by the greatest race drivers in America.
